our backyard project
We started MARMO as a side project because we had marble waste and offcuts piling up in our backyards.
Unable to find its purpose. The irregular shaped off cuts came from some beautiful residential or hotel projects somewhere, awaiting their moment to be back in the sun.
‘MARMO’ means marble in italian, referring to where most of our materials come from, and level of finesse and craftsmanship we strive to achieve.
To create a simple but timeless range of objects and furniture with recycled material offcuts and share it with the rest of the world
At Marmo, our mission is to create second life from marble waste and offcuts that were destined to become waste or end up in landfills.
We live in a world of instant gratification and constant social media distractions. It is our belief that the future of modern living should be built upon sustainability.
MARMO seeks to contribute to the beautification of future modern living spaces by reviving and recycling and not merely consuming for the sake of consuming.
